13.5 miles a scary thought!! Having run the half marathon before 2 years ago I have decided to give it another go. In 2011 I ran the Torbay half in 2 hours and 6 minutes and this year I am working towards beating my time.
Something I have learnt from my previous running experience is that preparation is everything!! With very little training I was impressed with my finishing time, however the after effects on my body were not pleasant.
This year I have been working on my road running enabling my body to become conditioned to running on hard surfaces. I am looking forward to raising money for good cause and hopefully achieving my personal best at the half marathon this year.
